can. you. juggle?

Where the heart is...

I absolutely love the idea in this photo...
CONSIDER THIS STOLEN! I'm going to embroider little red hearts into shirt pockets now <3

The above photo is taken by Garance Dore and is of Cedric Bihr, a wonderful foreign photographer.

Can You Juggle?
"This one doesn't really work if you're a woman but for men, it works like gangbusters. Better still, it's a skill pretty much anybody can learn in an afternoon.

Why juggling? Women are oddly compelled by men who can juggle. Even if you're the biggest geek on the planet, you'll suddenly seem a lot more interesting if you can keep five beer bottles simultaneously airborne.

Juggling Gurus Ryan and Phil began juggling at age 12 for fun and discovered by accident that juggling opened a lot of doors with women.

Ryan says, "Women really love juggling."

Oddly enough, I witnessed this phenomenon myself at a recent event. Two very average guys spent the entire afternoon in a large conference room at a media event with a lot of other people where they went largely unnoticed -- flying completely under the radar.

After the event ended, they began juggling in the corner as people were sort of milling around. Three minutes later, a HUGE crowd had gathered around them, including a number of very attractive women who elbowed their way to the front, and then stayed on to chat long after the juggling was over.

Why does it work? It's fun, it's non-threatening (unless you're juggling knives or hand grenades) and it puts you at the center of attention.

Juggling. It's not just for circus freaks.

5 Emergency flirting tips - Single Edition
I find this interesting tip quite true.
I just found out that a certain someone I know can juggle and it just made him that much more compelling to be around :D
NB: I believe this phenomenon to extend towards guys who juggle soccer balls with their feet too... So boys, do us all a favour and get juggling!

Ginny did a 'dating quiz' and I got all curious as to how mine would turn out... so here are my results:

Take the Dating Profile Quiz at Would I Date You

Breakdown: I guess the first trait of mine is expected :) The second one about being 'traditional' is something which I have always innately known about myself. I think it goes along with being a romantic and someone who wants 2.5 kids, a white picket fence, adoring husband and french doors which open onto a lovely backyard with amazing sun. There's nothing wrong with loving the traditional gender roles is there? The third trait about being 'stylish' was a bit of a surprise... but I suppose it's true. I do love fashion and I guess I expect a certain level of personal grooming to be acceptable.

Athletic eh... HUM :P That's pretty true too! I definitely associate being in shape with health - you know, being a physio student and all. I also grew up in a family where keeping active is an important value :) Again, it takes two to make a traditional kind of relationship right? The working guy who comes home to a carefully planned spread for dinner... As for looking for someone outgoing, I think this is to balance out my underlying shyness. No one seems who knows me know seems to believe me when I say that I'm shy but it's true! I need someone who is outgoing or I wont get drawn out of my shell and face the world.

Agree-age going on with the juggling- bonus! :)

Dating profile- Well. This was interesting. I just took the test and I have to say, it's pretty much applies.. I think that it's important to have things in common, and to get to the level where it's not superficial anymore, that's why it's a relationship, I guess.

Ah, I don't know how that related to your post, but ohhh well. Ramble on! :)
